Andre Rison
Football Player
Andre Rison may not be in the National Football League these days, but he is far from done. Anyone who is around the guy knows that although Rison is aging, his physical fitness, work ethic, and ability are still NFL caliber. Rison tore up the NFL after being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts, and after spending a year there being sent to Atlanta, where he starred with his longtime friend Deion Sanders. The Atlanta Falcons were a powerhouse in the early 1990's with Rison being among the league leaders in all recieving statistical categories.
Rison, a Flint, Michigan native, was a three sport athlete at Michigan State University. Prior to that, he paired with Glen Rice on one of the nations best high school basketball teams. A natural athlete with raw talent and quick hands, Rison has a first step that leaves most defenders looking for their jock strap, in ANY sport he plays.
Rison was given the nickname "Bad Moon" by ESPN analyst Chris Berman, and is well chronicled for off the field mischief. Rison once had his Atlanta mansion burnt down by then girlfriend Lisa Lopes, whom he later engaged to marry, resultingin the loss of all his possessions. Among the most fun people to hang out with that I have ever met, Andre Rison is currently grooming his son to play college sports and seeking a roster spot on an Arena Football team.
