Sports Mullets
Dan Gladden - Former Major League Baseball Player
Dan Gladden (also known as "Danny Gladden") was a hard-working, blue collar player. A sparkplug for the Minnesota Twins, it is unknown at what point Gladden crossed the line from "hockey hair" to a full-out mullet. However, Gladden possesses many traits of mullet-bearing players such as aggression, hustle, and irritability. Gladden was the instigator of the first ever fight in a baseball game in Japan, where he played after a stint in the Major Leagues. A true nitty-gritty player who took no bullsh*t, Gladden took exception at opposing pitchers when they tried to brush him back at the plate. Gladden won two World Series rings with the Minnesota Twins, and scored the series-winning run in the 10th inning when Gene Larkin hit a bases loaded single. Last we heard, Gladden was announcing baseball for the Minnesota Twins. Dan Gladden, we wish you the best.
