Francisco Liriano
Minnesota Twins Pitcher
Francisco Liriano is among baseballs hottest commodities since being called up to help the Twins starting rotation early in the 2006 season. Born in the Dominican Republic, Liriano has gotten off to a spectacular start with Minnesota and has fans on the edge of their seat each time he takes the mound. The 6'2" Liriano is a lefty that made the All-Star team as a late edition after narrowly losing the final AL spot to A.J. Pierzinski.
Liriano joins Johan Santana in a dominant 1-2 punch that Twins fans hope can bring back the magic of the late 80's and early 90's.
