Vince Young
Tennessee Titans Quarterback
Vince Young proved himself and silenced all his critics after his amazing performance in the Rose Bowl. Playing on the road against the two time defending national champion USC Trojans, Young led a Texas Longhorn team to the BCS title in a game that will go down as one of the greatest ever. Compared by many to Michael Vick, Vince Young has a more accurate arm and appears to have a better football mind than Vick did at that age. Young will start as the #2 quarterback in Tennessee and will be groomed under Billy Volek and guided by former USC coach Norm Chow.
Young possesses a rare blend of athletic ability, size (he is 6'5" 233 lbs,) and guts. His Texas team was a one touchdown underdog in the Rose Bowl, yet managed to drive the ball with relative ease on the powerful Trojan defense. Young will join newcomer LenDale White in what should be a revamped Titan squad in 2006.
