Youngblood

An aspiring hockey player is pressured to move from his farm to try out for the one remaining roster spot on the closest Junior Hockey team, in order to impress professional scouts and fulfill his dream to become a professional hockey player. A farmboy who works countless hours with his father and older brother, Dean Youngblood (Lowe) tries out for the local team only to give up prematurely because of on-ice violence.
In a never-ending feud with his coach, his family, and his fans, Youngblood faces many obstacles and ultimately has to show the scouts he has the toughness (aka the ability to fight) to make it in the professional ranks. Teaming with Youngblood is Derrick Sutton (Swayze), the star of the team and professional hopeful himself. An action-packed thriller that is a staple among hockey fans, this movie is a must-see.
